Shawmont Hotel

Our stay at the Shawmont Hotel in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, was simply wonderful! The moment we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by beautiful coastal decor that immediately set the tone for a relaxing beach getaway. The rocking chairs on the front porch were perfect for enjoying our morning coffee while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The included complimentary breakfast was delicious and provided the perfect start to our day. The location couldn't be better for beach lovers—just steps away from beach access. We also loved that we could walk to Asbury Park for the lively nightlife but return to the quiet comfort of the Shawmont for a great night's sleep. A special shoutout to Olivia and Anna, who were a pleasure to talk to and made our stay even more enjoyable. The Shawmont is truly the perfect home away from home at the Jersey Shore. We can't wait to return!

This was the third year for our team of Family & Friends staying at The Shawmont. And once again, it did not disappoint! This is an excellent location in the lovely town of Ocean Grove. You can walk to nearby shops and restaurants in Ocean Grove and walk a bit further to all that Asbury park has to offer. And, you’re right across Ocean Ave. from the Beach. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great front porch with rockers for hanging out. Have to compliment the staff. Very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Night Mgr. Eileen is a treasure trove of local information. We’ll be back next year for sure!

I have now stayed at this gem of a hotel twice in the last couple of months. It fits beautifully into Ocean Grove in it's appearance and stands out from all the hotels in Asbury Park in terms of charm and friendliness of staff. There is a beautiful porch overlooking the boardwalk and the ocean which gives way to a recently remodeled lobby area, perfect for recapping the day or meeting for a drink before heading out to dinner. The rooms are great. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. The cleaning staff is amazing. Each time we left the room in the morning, everything was freshened up when we got back. The staff is so friendly, never walking by without a smile and a greeting. The location is the best. It is right on Ocean Ave with unobstructed views of the Ocean! This has quickly become our favorite place to stay when seeing a show in Asbury or just taking in Ocean Grove.

This was our first stay and we loved it. Will be back over and over again. Location is perfect, right across from the ocean, you can walk to everything. Eileen, the manager was amazing! She went over and above. Loved her!

Absolutely breathtaking hotel! A true hidden gem. It's rare to find an updated ocean front hotel in the Jersey Shore. The energy is radiating and illuminating throughout and their general manager Anna has a heart of gold. Feels good! I did a sound bath in the main lobby and you can see and feel the ocean from inside. It's a nice open space that fits 15 yoga mats comfortably. The rooms are bright, light, updated, and clean. It's definitely worth it to stay here!

Ugh, love at first sight is real kids. This place is just so quaint and beautiful. The staff, Olivia and Eileen, are two balls of pure sunshine. You can feel the love and excitement they have for this place. My brother and I just stayed for one night for my 40th on 12/07 and are already planning our next stay for April 2, lol. Oh, and the great Atlantic is just across the street. What a location!!!!
